2. SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Papers must be submitted in Word-compatible format and be double-space typed in size 12 Arial font.
Each submitted abstract must have 2 (two) distinct files, both in compatible Word format, which will be sent in the submission system:
The first file will be the title page, where the full title, authors, corresponding author, institution and compliance rules will be described. Download title page template;
The second file will be the abstract with title, text, references and images/figures/tables, making sure it does not contain any information that allows the identification of the authors or their institutions;
Maximum 10 authors per paper;
The text of the submitted abstract should not contain the names of the authors, the institution or any other data that allows the identification of the authors/institution of the work. If this rule is not obeyed, the paper will be definitively excluded from the evaluation;
The author submitting the paper must be registered for the event. It is not necessary to pay at the time of registration. This can be done after your abstract is accepted;
Papers must be structured as follows: Case Report, Case Series and Medical Imaging Case Study (each item below will be assigned points):

Papers must observe the following word counts:
Case Reports / Case Series: 500 words and 6 tables/figures;
Medical Imaging Case Study: 500 words and 12 tables/figures;
Clinical Trial / Experimental Study: 1,000 words and 6 tables/figures.
All approved papers will be presented as electronic poster during the event, including those approved for oral presentation.
3. EVALUATION GUIDELINES
Each submitted abstract will be evaluated separately by 05 (five) interventional radiologists, all members of Sobrice. For the purpose of calculating the final score of this stage, a simple average of the 03 (three) intermediary scores will be used, that is, the highest and the lowest scores will be disregarded for the calculation. The grade for this first evaluation phase will correspond to 60% of the final grade;
The 6 (six) works with the best evaluations of the categories Clinical Study / Experimental Study and the 4 (four) works with the best evaluations of the categories Case Report / Case Series / Medical Imaging Case Study, will be classified for oral presentation with maximum duration of up to 6 (six) minutes - time that must be strictly observed;
During the oral presentation, the works will undergo a new round of evaluation by a panel of interventionist radiologists, all of them full members of Sobrice. The grade of this evaluation phase will correspond to 40% of the final grade;
The 03 (three) best papers of the Clinical Study / Experimental Study categories and the 02 (two) best papers of the Case Report / Case Series / Medical Imaging Case Study categories will be awarded by Sobrice.
Register or go to your account (if you’ve already registered). You do not need to pay when you register. You may pay once it is announced that your abstract has been accepted;
Click on the “Abstract / Scientific Papers” menu then choose “Submit new abstract”;
Follow the on-screen instructions and fill in all the form fields. All selected papers will then be presented in poster format. Remember to follow the mandatory category format / structure;
To complete your abstract submission, click “Next step”, review your responses and click “Confirm submission”;
You may make changes to your abstract up to the submission deadline: August 6, 2023.
